What is PRP for the eyebrows?
PRP for the eyebrows is a natural and innovative treatment to encourage the growth of hair using platelet rich plasma from your own blood. PRP treatments have been used to help restore hair growth on the hair of the head and now this treatment can be done on the brows. Your hair follicles survive on the nutrition that they get from your blood supply. A small amount of blood is taken with an IV. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge and spun until the platelets are separated from the blood. This plasma has around five times the number of platelets found in normal circulating blood. These platelets have growth factors that promote the regeneration of body cells.
This new platelet formula is put in a micro-needling device so it could be injected into the eyebrow area. The platelets will then stimulate hair follicle growth, which will lead to the appearance of healthier and thicker eyebrows
